what’s the difference between a tall head tube and regular head tube. what’s the advantages and disadvantages between the two. I’m 5’5″ tall and i’m looking on to a Z5 (small tall). pleas advice. Thanks
Roderick, the two options allow the bike to be better fitted to a wider range of different body types and degrees of flexibility. For some people the taller head tube enables them to achieve their contact points without excessive use of headset spacers. This means the load on the the steerer tube from the stem and handlebars are carried closer to the head tube and steerer bearings which help provide strength and stability in the front end. In short safer, confidence inspiring handling – a PARLEE hallmark.
